From the LP of the same name.

We have a winner. Fifty points to Bob. Use them however you wish, but please remember that your final grade will be based in part on attendance.

For 50 points, identify the following: song, title, album

"The ice age is coming, the sun is zooming in
Engines stop running and the wheat is growing thin
A nuclear error, but I have no fear
London is drowning-and I live by the river"

ALEXANDRINE DEXEDRINE

I am
the magus of
the spirit of the lamb.

I hunt the sacrificial ram
above the sky
with arrows made
of bone and butterfly

to match my spinning crimson blade.
I fly
within
eternal night
in search of pagan rites

to make my final fatal sin
contrite.

I must confess I did not expect my simple announcement last Friday to attract so much attention. Apparently, Ross was known and loved by many people in many places. I do not know many details, but I will share what I do know.

Ross Kurzer was from Milwaukee. He passed away Friday after suffering an extreme allergic reaction earlier in the week. His wife, Margit, survives him. Ross was quite a unique fellow. He had a particular love of music--especially the Grateful Dead and Bob Dylan--and avidly collected and recorded concert tapes. After moving to Eugene Oregon in 2000, Ross and Margit formed Rossgita Communications, a web development company. I worked with him for just over a year at an Internet marketing company called TrafficLeader. I had the great opportunity to get to know him and will--like all his friends and family--miss him.

If I learn any details concerning a memorial, I will pass that along.

Experimental Exposure Level Detector. If this counter reads 99,999 or higher, you have been exposed to a level of mutagenic particle emission that should cause priapism in men and low-level continuous orgasm in women. Please let me know if this is a problem for anyone.
